Very small home town feel. Excellent home cooked meals. All of the servers are great. They are super nice here. Closes at 1:45pm
Shirley's Cafe is an awesome little Mom and Pop restaurant. Decorated with old memorabilia, local sports history, trains, and various other things; this place will make you feel right at home. The food seemed all homemade too and was so delicious. The staff was so friendly and service was excellent. I definitely felt right at home, even though I was all the way across the country.
We flew in from Colorado, this is our first stop, We stopped right as they were opening, we were greeted with heart warming people, food was fresh and came out fast! I would definitely come again and recommend this cafe to anyone!Thank you staff for being so nice and always asking us if we were ok
We had just about given up on going out to breakfast. But we saw this place as we drove by and decided to try it. What a good decision. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly. And you could tell that everyone working there, not only got along well, but they obviously enjoyed their workmates and their guests. Made us believers in going out to eat again.
Visiting in town from Vancouver, Washington. We like to eat at local establishments rather than the big chain restaurants. We drove by Shirley's in the morning, the parking lot was packed. They share the parking lot with a pizza place and it did not open for several hours, so we knew we were at the right place. We were welcomed in by a friendly staff and were seated right away. The chicken fried steak with hash browns and gravy were my go to, and it did not disappoint. My wife got the Shirley's breakfast burrito, daughter got the strawberry Belgian waffle and son finished out the order with bacon and eggs. All of our meals were cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. The interior decor adds a nice touch and brought back some memories of the past when we would point out to our kids "Wow, we had that in our house growing up". We will add Shirley's to our list the next time we return.
Loved the relaxed atmosphere and the retro vibes. The homemade corned beef hash was the best I ever tasted. The prices are reasonable. Staff was friendly and attentive. Bathroom was clean. I'm coming back and bringing a friend.
Visiting from out of town and stopped in to try and beat the rain. Really cool spot for breakfast. Staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Food came out super fast and was delicious. Chicken fried steak was one of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town.
Truly an amazing experience from the memorabilia to the greetings to the food. Looking around at the artifacts and history is easy and my ham and cheese omelette was excellent. I felt right at home in Shirley’s Cafe and will be back soon. 5/5 Heds
